Meet Our Counselors

Amber Helme, MA, LPCC
Founder/Clinical Director/Counselor

I love to help children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with family/relational issues, mood or anxiety issues, and trauma related problems. I feel strongly about the importance of helping clients find their own balance in life. I love to help individuals, couples and families find ways to make their homes a haven, their relationships fulfilling, and their life goals achievable.

I have a great deal of experience in working with family systems to identify dysfunction. I also have extensive background in helping trauma victims find peace following acute or chronic trauma. I find connection with children and adults in therapy to be rewarding.

I conduct my practice in a small, private setting where each individual is respected for their own specific needs. I love working in a small town right outside of two larger cities because the drive to therapy in the beautiful countryside can be as therapeutic as the session.

Shelby Pennick, MS, LPCA
Counselor

Your life is your story. Counseling is your opportunity to tell it. What parts of your story are you proud of and what parts of your story cause pain? I believe that both are important. Together I will work with you to look at the story you tell about yourself to find peace and meaning.

As a counselor I focus on collaborating with my clients on their journey to healing. This can look different for each person and I believe that you – the client, should be the one to decide what this transformation will look like. I strive to create a safe space for you to feel that you can be heard and understood. I believe that counseling should be a non-judgmental and accepting experience. As we work together I will utilize various different techniques all tailored to your needs.

Matthew Fowler, LPCC-S, RPT
Counselor

It is courageous to seek help. It may not feel like it, but right now, you are being bold. As an independently licensed counselor, it is my privilege to work with children, adults and couples seeking to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relational issues and behavioral concerns. As each individual and family has a unique story, I work diligently to individualize my treatment to what best meets the needs and comforts of my clients. I am a registered play therapist (RPT) because I believe children learn and communicate best through action and that the work of therapy with children goes better when it is also  fun. For couples seeking to address areas of concern in their relationship, I have completed the level 1 of Gottman Method Couples Therapy and am trained in Prepare and Enrich.

Andi Sparrow, LCSW
Counselor

My passion is to help individuals dealing with challenging life experiences that cause changes in their mood, behavior, and relationships. I believe people are resilient and are capable of growing and healing from challenges such as trauma and other adversities like job loss, financial stress, relationship problems, etc. I love helping individuals achieve goals that enhance their ability to live life rather than dreading it.

I have over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults that come from a variety of diverse backgrounds. I utilize a trauma-informed and person-centered approach to therapy, providing you a safe space to heal and grow. You are the expert of your life. I look forward to talking with you about your goals and identifying ways to help you achieve them.

 Veronica Ribulotta Singleton, M.Ed., LPCA
Counselor

Life can be unpredictable, often leading us down paths we never expected. The good news is, we don’t have to tackle challenges alone. When things become difficult, stressful, or overwhelming, counseling can help guide you to the path you want to be on. As a counselor, I believe in walking alongside and supporting others in their journey to holistic wellness. I consider the therapeutic relationship the foundation on which change is built.

Furthermore, I appreciate and embrace diversity. Although I most enjoy working with teenagers, I accept clients of all ages, from all walks of life. I respect that your lived experience is unique to you, and you alone. It is always my goal to provide a safe, comfortable, affirming space, where all are welcome to share their stories without fear of judgment or condemnation. It would be an honor and a privilege to be part of your life journey.
